Chennai, Feb. 19 -- The ruling DMK in Tamil Nadu, aiming to retain power and form theDravidian Model 2.0 regime, will form the seat-sharing committee on February 22 and startnegotiations with its alliance partners from the next day (February 23).
According to reports, as per the practice followed by the DMK over the years, it would beholding the first round of seat sharing parleys with IUML, which too has formed a five-memberpanel in this regard, and finalise the number of seats.
Though the Muslim outfit was allotted two seats in 2021, it was believed to have decided toseek five seats. But reports indicated it could agree for three seats.
