Chennai, Oct. 23 -- Ruling DMK MLA K Ponnusamy, representing Senthamangalam inthe Tamil Nadu Assembly, died this morning following a heart attack.
The MLA complained of chest pain and was rushed to a hospital, where he was declared dead.
Chief Minister and DMK President M K Stalin condoled his death and recalled his services tothe people of his constituency as their representative.
He said Ponnusamy has special love and affected towards him and late DMK PresidentM Karunanidhi and has earned the goodwill of the people of Senthamangalam.
