Patna, June 6 -- Deputy Chief Minister and senior BJP leader Samrat Chaudhary on Friday strongly objected to the remark of Congress leader Rahul Gandhi that Bihar has become the crime capital of India.

Chaudhari told media persons here that there was no basis for Gandhi to say, " Bihar has become the crime capital of India ". The rule of law had been established in Bihar under the regime of the NDA government headed by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar as no criminal was being spared, he added.

" Those involved in any criminal activities in Bihar, either surrender on their own or are nabbed by police ", the Deputy Chief Minister said, adding that Congress was part of the RJD government in Bihar when criminals were striking at their will. Crimin...
