Bengaluru, June 19 -- An RTI activist TJ Abraham on Thursday alleged that the June 4 stampede during celebrations linked to the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) was "orchestrated and politically motivated," resulting in the deaths of 11 people. He named Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar as the prime accused and lodged a formal complaint at Cubbon Park Police Station seeking criminal action. "This was not an accident. Eleven people were killed in a planned stampede. I have filed a complaint naming DK Shivakumar as the first accused," Abraham told media shortly after submitting the complaint to the Cubbon Park police.
