Nagpur, Nov. 22 -- Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh of RSS Sunil Ambekar has said that several positive changes have been introduced in the country's history textbooks, including the removal of the epithet "The Great" previously used for Mughal emperor Akbar and Mysore ruler Tipu Sultan.

Speaking at the "Orange City Literature Festival" organised by the SGR Knowledge Foundation on Friday, Ambekar said that although the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has made these modifications, no historical figure has been removed from the textbooks.
