Nagpur, Sept. 27 -- Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat today recalled an incident from the Emergency, saying that an RSS volunteer continued to recite the organisation's daily prayer even while in jail.
Speaking at the inauguration of the audio recording of the RSS prayer at Dr Hedgewar Smruti Bhavan in Reshimbagh, Bhagwat said the prayer represents a collective resolve of devotion to the motherland. "In the prayer, we do not ask anything from Mother India, we only declare what we will offer her. Whatever is to be asked, is asked from God," he said.
