Bhubaneswar, Sept. 29 -- The entire works area of Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) has been recommended for ISO 14001:2015 EMS Certification.
It was recommended after the rigorous 2nd Surveillance and Scope Extension Audit for the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System (EMS)The audit conducted by Surinder Kochhar, Lead Auditor and Satya Narayan Mohanty, Co-Auditor of Messrs TUV concluded on September 26,2025.
This time 11 new departments were added to the purview of the audit reaffirming the plant's unwavering commitment to environmental protection and sustainable operations.
