Bhubaneswar, March 6 -- Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) has delivered an impressive performance in key production areas during the first eleven months of the current financial year 2024-25 (April-February 2025).
Blast Furnace-1 (BF-1) and Blast Furnace-5 (BF-5) produced a record-breaking 9,13,292 tonnes and 28,47,561 tonnes of hot metal, respectively, marking their best-ever April-February performance.
BF-5 registered a growth of 8.9 percent over the corresponding period last year (CPLY). The state-of-the-art Hot Strip Mill-2 rolled 19,58,063 tonnes of total hot rolled coils, setting a new record for its best April-February performance, with a growth of 8.3 percent over CPLY.
