Kakinada, Feb. 12 -- City MLA Dwarampudi Chandrasekhara Reddy inaugurated the 33/11 KV electrical substation constructed at Rs. 8.14 crore in the Parlaopet area here on Monday.
He said the substation would cater to the electricity requirements of the 2052 TIDCO housing colony, besides stabilising the power supply to the households in the area.
The MLA further said that another high-power substation for the Beach Road area, besides two more substations for the Jagannadhapuram area, would shortly come up, enabling the people to get quality electricity without voltage fluctuations. MLC Karri Padmasri, KUDA chairperson Ragireddi Chandrakala Deepthi, DE G. Prasad, DEE Srinivas, and ADE Usharani were among those who attended.
