New Delhi, March 28 -- As soon as the proceedings started in the Rajya Sabha on Friday, the ruling party members created a ruckus over the comment of Samajwadi Party member Ramji Lal Suman on Rana Sanga, due to which the House was adjourned till 12 noon.
When the House assembled for the day, the ruling party members started raising slogans.
On this, Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar "Honorable members, if we as members of this House express ourselves this way, irrespective of the gravity of the situation, then we are not contributing to evolution of peace in society. And we will have to introspect and reflect that in this House on sensitive issues, if we do not send our message of peace, tranquility then we will be failing in our duty".
