Nagpur, Dec. 3 -- The Maharashtra Government has confirmed that the winter session of the State Legislature will be held in Nagpur from December 8 to 14, reducing the previously expected two-week duration to just seven days.

The announcement followed a meeting of the Business Advisory Committees(BAC) of both the Legislative Assembly and the Legislative Council.

According to official estimates, the state will spend approximately Rs 90 crore on conducting the week-long session.

The expenditure covers arrangements for ministers, MLAs, senior officials and support staff, including accommodation, office refurbishments and facility upgrades.
