Karimnagar, July 5 -- Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar today said that more than Rs 20,000 crore has been spent on the development of Karimnagar Parliament constituency over the past six years.

Reaffirming his commitment to the region's progress, he said his aim is to secure more central funds and make Karimnagar a model constituency in terms of development.

During a visit to the Huzurabad constituency, the Union Minister, accompanied by local BRS MLA Kaushik Reddy, inaugurated 18 internal cement concrete (CC) roads constructed at a cost of Rs 78 lakh in Veenavanka mandal under the National Employment Guarantee Scheme.
