Vijayawada, Sept. 12 -- Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today made it clear that Rs 2000 crore will be allocated to complete the Uttarandhra Sujala Sravanthi project.

The Chief Minister held a meeting with the officials in the Secretariat at Amaravati, near here, and reviewed the progress of various projects.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister directed the officials to take steps to complete the Uttarandhra Sujala Sravanthi project within two years, for which Rs 1000 crore would be released this year and another Rs 1000 crore the next year. Water should be lifted to Visakhapatnam from the Polavaram project Left Main Canal and from the Uttarandhra Sujala Sravanthi project, Naidu stated.
