Ranchi, Dec. 21 -- Jharkhand Health Minister Irfan Ansari has announced that four mortuary vehicles will be arranged at every sadar hospital within the next month under a plan costing around Rs 15 crore.

The initiative aims to ensure respectful handling of the deceased and to prevent families from facing distress or inconvenience during sensitive moments.

Clarifying the recent Chaibasa case, the minister stated that the incident was deliberately misrepresented to defame the Health Department. He said the inquiry revealed that the child involved was four months old, not four years as reported in some sections of the media.
