Mumbai, Jan. 1 -- The Athawale faction of the Republican Party of India (RPI), which had earlier announced it would contest independently after alleging injustice in seat-sharing for the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections, has now withdrawn its opposition following intervention by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.
