Ranchi, Dec. 9 -- The Railway Protection Force (RPF) Hatia, along with its Flying Squad, seized 23 kilograms of ganja valued at approximately Rs 11.5 lakh and arrested two traffickers during a special inspection drive at Hatia Railway Station on Tuesday.
Acting on the directions of RPF Commandant Pawan Kumar, a joint team conducted intensified checks across the station premises. During the operation, Sub-Inspector Santosh Kumar Singh and the Flying Team spotted two suspicious individuals sitting on the platform. Upon inspection of their four bags, the team recovered four packets filled with ganja.
The seized substance was confirmed as marijuana using the DD Kit in the presence of Assistant Security Commissioner Ashok Kumar Singh.
