Bhubaneswar, June 29 -- In a major breakthrough under 'Operation Passenger Security', the Detective Wing of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) has arrested a six-member criminal gang from the Coaching Complex in Puri.
According to East Coast Railway (ECoR) sources, the gang was apprehended while allegedly planning to rob a night train operating between Puri and Khordha Road.
During the search operation, the RPF recovered 23 stolen mobile phones, cash amounting to Rs 24,450, and other incriminating materials. The total value of the recovered property is estimated at Rs 7,13,450.
