Bhubaneswar, June 29 -- The Crime Prevention and Detection Squad (CPDS) of the Railway Protection Force (RPF) has apprehended an individual involved in the theft of passenger belongings at Puri Railway Station.

As part of a special drive aimed at curbing unauthorized passenger movement and preventing the theft of passenger belongings (TOPB), the CPDS team conducted intensive patrolling and surveillance across the station premises.

During the operation, on yesterday a suspicious individual was intercepted near the station's main gate. Upon investigation, the person was found in possession of two stolen mobile phones-a sky blue OPPO 10-K and a grey Samsung S24 Ultra-valued at approximately Rs. 1,50,000.
