Agra, March 18 -- The controversy surrounding the word 'Pandit' in Uttar Pradesh shows no signs of abating.

After the Police Sub-Inspector recruitment examination question and a film named Ghooskhor Pandit, a new dispute has now erupted over the use of the word 'Pandit' in a question asked during the Class 7 Sanskrit examination conducted by the Basic Education Department.

Teachers have voiced their protest against this question, labeling it as casteist and objectionable.
