Chennai, Oct. 6 -- Russia's nuclear energy major Rosatom is set to expand its partnership with India beyond the nuclear sector, entering talks for a 50:50 joint venture in additive manufacturing commonly known as 3D printing.
According to Ilya Kavelashvili, Director of Rosatom's Additive Manufacturing Business Unit, the proposed joint venture would cater to both Indian and neighbouring markets, potentially including local production of 3D printing equipment and metal powders.
"We also think of producing the equipment and metal powder in India," Kavelashvili told select visiting Indian journalists in Russia.
