Imphal, March 11 -- Dr Shailesh Kumar Chourasia, Commissioner (Power), Manipur, launched an awareness campaign for "PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojna Scheme" on Tuesday here at the premises of Manipur State Power Distribution Company Limited (MSPDCL).
Dr Chourasia described PM Surya Ghar as a highly ambitious initiative of the Government of India. He stated that the scheme is well-suited for Manipur, offering multiple benefits, from reducing electricity bills for the people, supporting government efforts in energy sustainability, to being environmentally friendly.
