Hapur, Oct. 3 -- The Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) of Uttar Pradesh has arrested a Rohingya national who has been living illegally in India for the past 12 years using forged documents.

The accused, identified as Syed Hussain, is a native of Maungdaw district in Myanmar.

He was apprehended by the Noida unit of the ATS with assistance from the local police, officials confirmed today.

According to officials, several suspicious and fake documents were recovered from Syed Hussain, including an OPPO mobile phone, a Reliance Jio SIM card, a fake Aadhaar card, PAN card, voter ID, refugee certificate, and passport, all reportedly obtained in Meerut.
