Madrid, Aug. 29 -- Spain coach Luis de la Fuente on Friday recalled Real Madrid right back Dani Carvajal and Manchester City midfielder Rodri Hernandez when he named his squad for Spain's two forthcoming World Cup qualifying matches against Bulgaria and Turkiye.
Both players return after missing most of last season with cruciate knee ligament injuries, but the coach showed how important they are by calling them into his squad now that they have returned to fitness.
Alvaro Morata is also in the squad after his miss in the penalty shoot-out at the end of the UEFA Nations League final against Portugal.
De la Fuente has also given a debut call to former Betis winger Jesus Rodriguez, who joined Como during the summer, but he hasn't called up ...
