Dharamshala, Dec. 16 -- Road construction works in various parts of the Shahpur Assembly constituency are progressing at a fast pace and are expected to be completed soon, said Shahpur MLA and Deputy Chief Whip Kewal Singh Pathania.

Sharing the details yesterday, Pathania said he recently met the Chief Minister and expressed his gratitude for the timely release of funds for road infrastructure projects in the constituency.

He informed that an amount of about Rs 7.35 crore is being spent on the Rait-Kohla road. In addition, construction of a link road to Diyada village, being built at a cost of Rs 1 crore, is also underway.
