Ballia, June 18 -- Two people were killed when their motorcycle collided head on with pick-up van at the Haldi area in this district of Uttar Pradesh, police sources said on Tuesday.
According to sources, the motorcyclists were proceeding towards Bairia.
The pick-up van collided with the motorcycle, leading to on the spot death of one Jawahar Lal Tiwari (65) and injuries to another Ajay Pandey (32), both residents of Sitakund village.
Ajay was rushed to hospital where he was declared brought dead.
