Basti, June 26 -- Three members of a family were killed and two others sustained injuries in a road accident in the Kalvari area of this district in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said on Wednesday.
According to sources, a speeding tractor hit two motorcycles at the Ram-Janaki road on Tuesday night, leading to the death of Ram Kumar (32), his wife Reena (27) and their one-year-old child.
Two people riding another bike were injured and they have been admitted to a hospital.
The tractor driver has been arrested, the sources added.
