Patna, Feb. 16 -- RJD on Sunday slammed the Narendra Modi government and Yogi Adityanath government for a large number of deaths related to the MahaKumbh Mela.
Senior RJD leaders including leader of the opposition Tejaswi Prasad Yadav, former Chief Minister Rabri Devi, and former Minister Abdul Bari Siddiqui expressed their shock over deaths in the stampede at New Delhi Railway station on Saturday night and demanded adequate compensation for family members of those who lost their lives. Compensation of Rs 10 lakhs announced by the government for victims was not enough, they noted.
