Patna, Feb. 25 -- RJD MLC Sunil Singh on Wednesday alleged that the liquor ban law has failed in Bihar and threatened to ensure delivery of liquor in the premises of the state legislature on February 27, the last day of the ongoing Budget session.
Singh told mediapersons that despite stringent provisions, liquor was easily available across the state and home delivery was also taking place. He alleged that the government had failed to enforce prohibition effectively.
He said his party had repeatedly raised the issue but the government had not responded. Singh urged media representatives to be present in the legislature premises on February 27 to highlight what he described as the failure of prohibition.
