Ranchi, Sept. 4 -- The Ranchi Institute of Neuro-Psychiatry and Allied Sciences (RINPAS) today commemorated its centennial with a special event attended by Chief Minister Hemant Soren.
A commemorative postal stamp was released by the Chief Minister along with Chief Postmaster General Vidhan Chandra Roy.
The event highlighted RINPAS's historic contribution to mental health care and research in eastern India. Addressing the landmark occasion, RINPAS Director Prof (Dr) Amool Ranjan Singh said the institution has evolved from a custodial asylum into an advanced centre for psychiatry, clinical psychology, psychiatric social work, and mental health nursing.
