Bengaluru, March 18 -- In an apparent rift between JDS and BJP in Karnataka over the allocation of seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, HD Kumaraswamy said the JDS will field candidates in three constituencies.

The JDS leader mentioned Hassan, Mandya, and Kolar, from where his party wants to contest the parliamentary election, without waiting for final confirmation from the BJP leadership,

The BJP currently holds the Kolar seat, but the JDS is pressing for its claim on the constituency. Despite this, the JDS has decided to contest from Kolar independently.
