Shimla, Feb. 23 -- A Regional Forensic Science Lab (RFSL) official was pardoned after apologizing for using a mobile phone in the official gallery on Thursday evening.
The Vidhan Sabha official, who was on election duty, was unaware of the phone's use in the official gallery. He was deputed from Mandi to record the house proceedings but only saw his daughter's social media posts.
The official checked the mobile phones of officers and did not find it in violation of assembly rules, and speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania instructed the security officials to discharge the official after his entry pass was withdrawn yesterday.
