Una (HP), March 29 -- With the objective of ensuring effective control over illegal mining and unregulated transportation within the district, District Magistrate of Una, Jatin Lal, has issued new directives by amending previously issued orders regarding licensed mining activities.
This decision has been taken under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, based on the recommendation of the Police Department.
According to the amended orders, a complete ban will be imposed on all mining-related activities between 7:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
Conversely, activities such as mining, excavation, and loading may only be conducted between 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
