Chennai, Nov. 4 -- The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), in collaboration with the Indian National Centre for Ocean Information Services (INCOIS) and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands Administration, convened a review meeting today for Joint Mock Exercise on Earthquake and Tsunami in the island region.
The meeting was chaired by Ms. Chanchal Yadav, Commissioner-cum-Secretary, at Aapda Prabandhan Bhawan, Sri Vijaya Puram.
The review meeting was attended by the Deputy Commissioner, South Andaman District, along with senior officials from NDMA, Andaman & Nicobar Command (ANC), National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), Shipping, Forest, Electricity, PWD, and other key departments, a PIB release said.
