Shimla, Sept. 11 -- Himachal Pradesh government has doubled the fee for obtaining revenue papers, including copies of jamabandi, a key land record document.

According to a notification issued by the Revenue Department on September 5, the fee for securing a copy of jamabandi through Lok Mitra Kendras has been increased from Rs 10 per page to Rs 20 per page.

In addition, a fixed charge of Rs 50 (including GST) per application has been introduced for documents obtained from the e-district portal, applicable for one account number.
