Hyderabad, Nov. 19 -- Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Wednesday paid floral tributes to former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi on her 108th birth anniversary at Necklace Road.
Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Ministers, Legislators and senior officials joined him in honouring the late leader.
Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister hailed Indira Gandhi as a transformative figure who led the nation through critical phases - from bank nationalisation and land reforms to strengthening the rights of the poor. He described her as a "brave woman who stood firm during the war with Pakistan" and said her leadership continues to inspire the state government's policies.
