Hyderabad, Sept. 19 -- In a significant move towards the welfare of minorities, the Congress government in Telangana on Friday unveiled two new schemes aimed at providing financial security and promoting self-employment among underprivileged communities.
The schemes - Indiramma Minority Mahila Yojana and Revanthanna Ka Sahara for the poor - were formally launched by Minister for SC, ST, Minority, Disabled, and Transgender Welfare Adluri Laxman Kumar at the Secretariat.
Speaking on the occasion, the Minister said the initiatives were conceived under the guidance of Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, who has been committed to uplifting marginalised groups.
