Hyderabad, April 9 -- : Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Thursday night directed officials to undertake repairs to the three barrages of the Kaleshwaram Lift Irrigation Project and restore them to use at the earliest.
Reviewing the project along with Irrigation Minister N. Uttam Kumar Reddy at his residence in Jubilee Hills, Revanth said the repair works should be completed in accordance with the recommendations of the National Dam Safety Authority.
He instructed officials to prepare a special action plan for the repairs and ensure continuous monitoring of the works.
Revanth asked all concerned agencies to be put on alert and directed that the pace of work be accelerated.
