Lucknow, Aug. 21 -- A retired Army man, attending Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Janata Darshan, allegedly consumed some poisonous substance in the state capital today following which he was immediately taken to the civil hospital where his condition remains critical.
The former Army man was identified as Satbir Gurjar, a resident of Sirauli in Ghaziabad's Loni police station area. He had alleged that he took the extreme step as he was fed up with the harassment meted out by BJP MLA Nand Kishore Gurjar.
Gurjar told the security staff deployed at the CM's Janata Darshan that he came to redress his grievance after consuming poisonous substance. There was chaos as Satbir made serious allegations against Nand Kishore Gurjar.
