Srinagar, Aug. 22 -- Authorities in the Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir today imposed restrictions in the villages of Gund Khwaja Qasim and Kanterbugh in Singhpora area to prevent any law and order disturbances.
According to an order issued by District Magistrate Baramulla, Minga Sherpa, the restrictions will remain in force from 8:30 pm on August 22 till 9:30pm on August 23 under Section 163 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS)-2023.
During this period, the assembly of four or more persons, processions, use of loudspeakers without prior permission, and carrying of arms or articles that may be used as weapons will be strictly prohibited.
