Patna/ Jamui, Dec. 28 -- The railway administration has taken up the restoration work on war footing to resume plying of trains operations of which were disrupted on the Jasidih-Jhajha section under Asansol division of Eastern Railway after 9 bogies of a goods train fell from the bridge into Barua river while 19 got derailed.
Railway sources said here that the goods train, consisting of 42 bogies and being hauled by two engines was heading towards Jhajha from Jaruri, met with an accident on the section between Lahaban and Simultala stations. The engines moved ahead while several wagons derailed behind.As many as nine wagons went off the track near the Barua river stretch.
