Lucknow, Aug. 29 -- Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel today said that the responsibility of the judiciary is not limited to only the interpretation of the law, but it is also necessary to take sensitive decisions by understanding the problems of the society.
The Governor said that many times such cases come up, on which there is no clear law. "In such cases, the judge has to take a decision with his discretion, impartiality and human approach," she said.
In a dialogue programme organised for 70 newly appointed trainee civil judges of Civil Judge (Junior Division) 2022 batch at Raj Bhavan, she said that the present era is the era of technology, so it is necessary to use technology for the right decision and look at every case closely....
