Bengaluru, Nov. 9 -- RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat on Sunday stressed that reservations in education should continue until true social equality is achieved, cautioning against viewing reservation and meritocracy as mutually exclusive.
"Reservations should continue while inequality, discrimination, and untouchability are eradicated. Once all sections of society have truly equal opportunities, meritocracy will naturally flourish. Reservation and meritocracy are not mutually exclusive, they work together to ensure fairness and inclusivity," Bhagwat said at lectures series of 100 Years of Sangh's Journey here.
