Rescue operations intensify at SLBC tunnel in Telangana; Cadaver dogs deployed
Hyderabad, March 27 -- Rescue operations are in full swing at the SLBC tunnel accident site with specialized teams working around the clock to locate the trapped workers.
The accident, which occurred on February 22, left eight workers stranded inside the tunnel. So far, the bodies of two victims have been recovered and handed over to their families. Authorities are making determined efforts to expedite the rescue of the remaining six workers.
In a significant development, the Telangana government has appointed Special Officer Shivshankar Loteti (IAS) to oversee and accelerate the rescue operations.
