Hyderabad, March 29 -- Rescue teams have successfully recovered the loco engine from the accident site at the SLBC tunnel with relief operations progressing at double speed. SLBC Tunnel Special Officer Shivshankar Loteti commended the rescue teams for their relentless efforts and urged them to continue working with the same dedication. The SLBC tunnel accident, which occurred on February 22, trapped eight workers. So far, the bodies of two victims have been recovered and handed over to their families. Authorities are making special efforts to expedite operations and rescue the remaining six workers. A high-level review meeting was held on Saturday at the SLBC Tunnel Inlet 1 office.
