Tehran, April 9 -- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Thursday that Israel's attacks on Lebanon are a "dangerous sign" and termed it a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement that was reached with the United States.
He also said that such actions make the negotiation process meaningless.
"The repeated aggression of the Zionist regime is a blatant violation of the original ceasefire agreement. This is a dangerous sign of a trap and non-compliance with possible agreements. Continuing these actions will make negotiations meaningless," Pezeshkian wrote on X.
The Iranian President added that Iran "has its hand on the trigger" in response to Israel's attacks on Lebanon.
