Kochi, Aug. 2 -- Renowned Malayalam literary critic and cultural icon Professor M.K. Sanu, affectionately known as Sanu Mash, passed away at a private hospital at 5.35 pm on Saturday.
He was 98. He is survived by his children, M.S. Ranjith (Retired Deputy Chief Mechanical Engineer, Cochin Port Trust), M.S. Rekha, Dr. M.S. Geetha (Retired Head of the Hindi Department, St. Paul's College, Kalamassery), M.S. Seetha (Retired Officer, Department of Social Welfare), and M.S. Harris (Manager, Energy Management Services, Dubai). His wife, N. Ratnamma, had predeceased him.
