Hyderabad, July 28 -- Two-time world boxing champion Nikhat Zareen is planning to set up an International standard Boxing academy in Telangana.
A native of Nizamabad district (Telangana), the 29-year-old Nikhat has an illustrious career in boxing, having won a gold medal at the Commonwealth Games and a bronze medal at the Asian Games.
Talking to UNI on the sidelines of the announcing 14th edition of the NMDC Hyderabad Marathon 2025 from August 23 to 24 here, Nikhat said "I want to have an Academy in Hyderabad to train the young talented players who want to make their career in boxing, make Telangana and India proud."
