Pankaj Jain, Jan. 7 -- The Delhi assembly was adjourned on Wednesday amidst an uproar in the house as BJP MLAs demanded an apology from the Leader of the Opposition, Atishi, over an alleged remark on Guru Tegh Bahadur.
Raising the issue inside the Assembly, BJP legislators demanded an apology from the Leader of Opposition. BJP MLAs also alleged that the opposition did not participate in the discussion held on Guru Tegh Bahadur.
Minister Kapil Mishra claimed in the House that while a special discussion to honour Guru Tegh Bahadur was underway on Tuesday, the opposition used inappropriate and offensive language.
