Kalaburagi, Sept. 30 -- In what could only be described as a stark reminder of administrative apathy, BJP Karnataka State President Vijayaendra Yediyurappa today demanded that the government immediately provide relief to the family of Mallikarjun Kharge while simultaneously addressing the plight of farmers whose fields lie in ruin.
Speaking to the media, Vijayaendra drew attention to farmers whose entire pigeon pea crops across multiple acres have been destroyed. "While a farmer requests relief for four acres, Kharge claims his own forty acres have been wiped out. Yet, even his family has not received any assistance," he said, underscoring the glaring neglect in government response.
