New Delhi, March 16 -- Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has signed a landmark long-term agreement with Samsung C&T Corporation of South Korea for the supply of green ammonia, marking a major step in India's emergence as a global exporter of clean fuels, an Reliance statement said here today.
The binding Supply and Purchase Agreement (SPA), valued at over USD3 billion, will run for 15 years and is scheduled to begin in the second half of FY2029.
The deal is among the largest long-term green ammonia offtake agreements globally and is expected to strengthen India's position in the rapidly evolving global green energy market.
